If you have not seen Sergio Leone’s classic western ‘Duck, You Sucker!’ I suggest that you do so immediately. The character above is a favorite of mine – Sean Mallory, played by James Coburn, is a motorcycle-riding Irish revolutionary traveling across America on an early Harley-Davidson with a vest full of dynamite and nitroglycerin. When bandits shoot out a tire and attempt to rob him, his reaction (pictured above) is priceless. The trailer below will convince you of the qualities of this fine piece of cinema:

Moustache Transportation: Isle of Man TT

This video is not specifically about moustaches. However, as anyone acquainted with our kind knows, the preferred mode of transportation for anyone with a moustache has two wheels, an engine, and a modicum of danger. Moustache Lifestyle Research: Molloys

This video, although produced by barefaced mortals, features an Irish bar with a capable moustache behind it, the Ancient and Honorable Organization of E Clampus Vitus (which your humble author may or may not be a part of), and plenty of historical pictures that hearken back to the glory days of facial hair. In addition, it’s a good introduction to Emperor Norton, who will be profiled in a future article.
